Grief, Bereavement and loss

Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy. It can come with sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, or even numbness — sometimes all in the same day. Grief isn’t only about death; it can also follow the end of a relationship, a major life change, the loss of health, identity, stability, or even the future you once imagined.

At A Question of Life Counselling, I offer a safe, grounded space where there’s no timeline and no pressure to ‘move on.’ Instead, you’ll get support that meets you where you are, helping you work through grief at your own pace.

Together, we’ll use practical strategies — from talking therapy and mindfulness to, if it feels right, spiritual counselling — to help you process your loss, rebuild your sense of self, and find hope again.

You don’t have to face this alone.

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not 'get over' the loss… you will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered.”
